The cost for one session varies based on the activities / transportation / etc and can range from $300-$400. This fee includes lodging, meals, daily canteen snacks (one drink and one treat per day), and all camp activities. Full payment is due at the time of registration.

We encourage you to consider another available session, but if you would like to be added to a waitlist, please email info@mountainviewcamp.org. While we’re happy to keep a waitlist, openings are rare, so placement is not guaranteed.

Summer camp is a great chance for kids to unplug and be fully present, so we ask that campers leave phones and personal devices at home. A screen-free week helps them build stronger friendships, connect with their counselors, enjoy the outdoors, and fully experience all the fun and growth that camp offers.

To stay connected, parents can follow our Facebook and Instagram accounts for updates and photos throughout the week. And while phones stay home, digital cameras have become a camp favorite, we encourage campers to bring one to capture their memories!

If you need to reach your camper during the week, you can contact the camp office and we will make sure your message is delivered. If a camper needs to call home, our staff will gladly assist them in contacting a parent or guardian.

Our phone-free environment is intentional - it gives campers the chance to unplug, fully engage in the camp experience, grow in independence, and deepen their faith without everyday distractions. Rest assured, our team is always here to help facilitate communication when it’s truly needed while keeping campers immersed in all that camp has to offer.

Yes, campers can bring their own snacks! Any food must be stored in resealable containers (yikes - ants!) and is available during daily R&R time.

Please send only the amount of prescription medication your camper will need for their time at camp, and keep all medications in their original prescription containers with current dosage instructions.

To make check-in smooth and safe, please follow these guidelines:

Prescription medications must:

• Be in the original pharmacy container

• Include the current dosage instructions on the label

• Contain only the doses needed for the camp session

For items such as inhalers, EpiPens, or prescription creams, please include the original box with the prescription label or ask your pharmacy for an extra label to place on the medication.

For safety and legal reasons, medications cannot be mailed to or from camp, so sending only the needed doses helps avoid lost or unused medication. While it may be tempting to combine medications into a pill organizer or baggie, state regulations require medications to remain in pharmacy-labeled containers, and we are unable to make exceptions.

We are stocked with common over-the-counter medications for occasional needs, so there is no need to send typical OTC items.

If your camper takes a daily OTC medication (such as an allergy medicine), please list it on the medical form and bring it to check-in. Vitamins require a doctor’s note and must also be checked in.

When packing, please place all medications in a separate bag from your camper’s luggage and have them ready to turn in during check-in.

Campers stay in gender-specific cabins with bunk beds, creating a fun and community-focused camp experience. Each cabin houses up to 20 campers and is supervised by two counselors who provide guidance and support throughout the week.

Cabins have connected bathrooms with showers and full plumbing, offering a comfortable stay while still maintaining the rustic feel that makes camp special - not too comfortable, because that’s part of the adventure!

We don’t publish a detailed daily schedule because each session can vary a bit, but here’s a snapshot of what a typical day at MVCC looks like:

The morning begins with flag and quiet time before breakfast, followed by Bible classes and morning activities. After lunch, campers enjoy R&R (rest and recharge) time and a chance to visit the canteen for snacks before heading into afternoon activities.

After some free time, the evening includes dinner, a themed activity or event, a snack, worship or club time, and then lights out. We aim for campers to get about 7–8 hours of sleep each night so they’re ready for another full day of fun and growth.

To ensure delivery, we recommend mailing letters early in the week. Mail sent from home after Wednesday of your camper’s session often does not arrive before camp ends.

Our Statement of Faith

At Mountain View Christian Camp, our faith shapes everything we do — from the way we care for campers to the messages we teach and the community we build. We are committed to creating a Christ-centered environment where young people can encounter God, grow in their faith, and be encouraged to live out His truth.

We believe:

• In God the Father Almighty, the one true God and Creator of heaven and earth.

• In Jesus Christ, God’s Son, fully God and fully man, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again, offering reconciliation with God and victory over sin and death.

• In the Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers, guiding, empowering, and transforming lives today.

• That God is unchanging and still works in powerful and miraculous ways.

• That the Bible is God’s inspired Word, living and sufficient, and our ultimate authority for truth and life.

• That salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, and that He will one day return.

• In the forgiveness of sins, new life in Christ, the resurrection, and life everlasting.

MVCC has an expectation of modesst attire for all staff, volunteers and campers. Please read the details below. These apply to both guys and girls.

• Dress should be modest.

• These items are not acceptable: halter tops, bare midriffs, and revealing skirts and shorts .

• No loose-fitting tank tops for guys or girls. Undergarments should not be seen at any time.

• No short shorts. If you are wearing shorts, we feel are inappropriate we will have long athletic shorts to change into.

• Girls should wear one piece bathing suits with shorts

• Clothing with inappropriate advertising, pictures, and/or sayings that are contrary to the mission and Christian standards of MVCC is prohibited.
